McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
At Cyber Corps Defense, we offer a wide range of services for McAfee ePO or HBSS, including the installation, management, design, and audit procedures. Our team of experts follow a guided process for each of these services to ensure the system is properly implemented, maintained, and audited for compliance and risk management purposes.
Installation: Our team starts by receiving the installer package directly from McAfee\Trellix and follows the installation process documentation. We configure the ePO server which includes setting up the SQL database, and installs the required software products such as DLP, HIPS, PAA, RSD or Rouge Sensor Device, Agent and the current Anti-Virus updates. Once the installation is complete, we ensure that the ePO console is accessible through a dedicated server and verifies that the system is ready for use.
Management: After installing McAfee ePO, our team uses the GUI console from a web browser to manage security policies, deploy or apply updates and patches, schedule automated scans, and generate security reports that can be easily read. We add updated products to the ePO system and manage existing ones. With a centralized view of the entire network, we can easily manage all endpoints and servers from a single location, ensuring the organization's security infrastructure is properly maintained and kept up to date.
Design: When designing the McAfee ePO system, our team creates certain security policies that align with the organization's specific security requirements. We work closely with stakeholders to identify factors such as risk tolerance, compliance requirements and the type of data being protected. We define policies for antivirus, anti-malware, intrusion prevention and other security technologies tailored to the organization's unique needs. Additionally, we design customizable dashboards and reports to track and analyze security events, enabling the organization to monitor its security posture effectively.
Audit: Our team conducts daily audits to monitor the system for compliance and identify any potential security risks. ePO's has a built in reporting and analysis tools that tracks security incidents, analyze security events and identify vulnerabilities. By conducting daily audits, we help organizations proactively identify any potential security violations and take action to mitigate risks. We review the security policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date and effective.
